The perfect base, specifically setup for schools, Scouts, Guides and Duke of Edinburgh Award teams. Fresh air, fun, space and confidence-building activities – for up to 25-young people, and three teachers.

Our former log cutter’s cottage is the source of hundreds of happy, exciting memories. It’s ‘off the grid’ with an open fire, drawing fresh water from a borehole. A world away from tablets, consoles and mobile phones.

We’ve added a few things, including cooking facilities, central heating and hot showers. And despite being deep in the rolling hills of a breath-taking National Park, it’s just 2-hours by minibus from Bristol. Meaning it’s more of an adventure when you arrive, than getting here.

We offer simple, flexible pricing. And as a Trust founded by a school, our goal is simply to provide a brilliant, yet affordable place where children can experience the great outdoors, gaining valuable new skills, helping them become their true selves.
